About...
I'm 21, female, and used to think I didn't know how to fill in 'about me' sections.
I like.. : daydreaming, reading, writing (go see blog), guitaring, punning, doggies, puttytats, tropical rains and thunderstorms, the smell of spring, pretty sunsets, swimming, making intelligent conversation, listening to intelligent conversation, vetti-netting, wiki-walking, making stuff, shiny things, colours, flowers, old books, pebbles, fishies, chocolate, frankies, make-believe, jackfruit, mango, sapota, (sigh), full moons, looney tunes, long walks.. and this is not a complete list.
I don't like : Purple (wouldn't you know.), cooked beetroot, carrot juice, tomato juice, watermelon juice (although I love all three un-juiced :P ), excessive flattery (c'mon, beyond a point even I wouldn't believe you..), maggots, anonymous stalkers (have the courage to face me. If you don't, keep in mind that I will walk around with a sharp object in my pocket and look forward to meeting you.), self pity, hypocrites, unreasonableness.
Not that I would hate you if you're any of the above.. except for YOU, stalker-guy. grr.
About the site
I think I made my first website on Go.com when I was in the 8th grade. It had a black background with white flowers on it, but got itself deleted when Go.com rather inexplicably redirected to Disney's family website. Apparently I had been sent several notifications, all of which I hadn't noticed.Version 2 of website was re-established on Geocities.com replicating the black-and-white theme. Last updated 3rd August 2004 and likely to stay that way, since every time I visit it I feel obliged to turn several shades of pink before finally closing the browser window.
This site is currently hosted on Site 5.com which, like I said, might be overkill considering my limited skills but hey, who said I can't grow :)
Dirigible Plum
Hee. It's whimsical, I like the sound of it. According to the Harry Potter Wikia article (since I don't remember book 7 by heart..), the dirigible plum is an 'orange raddish-like fruit' which Xenophilius Lovegood believes 'enhances one's ability to accept the extraordinary'. Personally, I think Xenophilius himself has slightly lost it, but Luna's always struck me as a soul-sister. Her, and Jerry Spinelli's Stargirl.Travel
I've spent all my life in one city, 14 years in one school never more than 5 km from wherever we moved, and went to college that was even closer to home. It gave me a fantastic sense of security, of course, but wouldn't you know - I now have a burning desire to travel :D
